فراخوان پوستر بین المللی روز جهانی اطلاع رسانی درباره کمپوست سال ۲۰۱۸ منتشر شده است.

  • ■ کمیته برگزاری روز جهانی اطلاع رسانی درباره کمپوست از همه هنرمندان بری شرکت در شانزدهمین رقابت سالانه پوستر مرتبط با این روز (International Compost Awareness Week که به اختصار ICAW نامیده می شود) دعوت به ارسال اثر می نماید.

≡ موضوع رقابت

  • ■ موضوع رقابت امسال: «کمپوست! ساختن آینده بهتر». اساس انتخاب موضوع بر این است که کمپوست ها چگونه برای گیاهان، انسان ها و درنتیجه آینده ما مفید هستند. جهان ما تحت فشارهای محیطی و اقتصادی با کمبود آب، چالش انرژی، تغییرات آب و هوایی و اتمام منابع طبیعی تهدید می شود. زمان و اثری که هر یک از ما می تواند داشته باشد، ارزشمند است. با گردهمایی از طریق صدایی جهانی که کمپوست را معرفی کند، شرکت کنندگان به جهان اعلام می کنند که بوسیبه کمپوست کردن؛ ما می توانیم از تبدیل کردن مواد آلی به زباله جلوگیری کنیم، خاک را تغذیه کنیم و به سلامت آن کمک کنیم و استفاده از مواد شیمیایی را به حداقل برسانیم. ما با کمک هم می توانیم یک طرح حفاظت جهانی ایجاد کنیم که زباله های آلی را به منابع قابل استفاده تبدیل کند.

≡ شرایط رقابت

  • ■ پوستر برنده امسال مبلغ ۵۰۰ دلار دریافت می کند و برای معرفی روز جهانی کمپوست که در روزهای ۶ تا ۱۲ می سال ۲۰۱۸ برگزار می شود، مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد.
  • ■ مسابقه در سه رده سنی ۳-۷ سال، ۸-۱۲ سال و دانشجویان و بزرگسالان برگزار می شود.
  • ■ بهترین اثر هر گروه به رقابت نهایی راه پیدا می کند.
  • ■ پوستر برنده در تیراژ هزاران عدد در آمریکا تکثیر میشود و پوستر رسمی رویداد ICAW سال ۲۰۱۸ خواهد بود و در وبسایت CCREF و همچنین وب سایت شورای کمپوست آمریکا منتشر می شود.

Call for Entries: The International Compost Awareness Week Committee invites YOU to get involved in ICAW 2018. We’re looking for anyone interested in participating in our 16th Annual Poster Contest. The winning poster will be used to promote International Compost Awareness Week, May 6 -12, 2018.

POSTER THEME:
Compost! Building a Better Future

The contest runs from September 1 until November 6, 2017 and is open to anyone who wishes to share their artistic creativity to promote this year’s theme. The winning poster will serve as the promotional piece to share nationwide the 2018 International Compost Awareness Week theme. We invite municipal, facility or state agency representatives and industry professionals to join in the fun, along with students, youth groups, commercial composters, green industry businesses, gardeners, environmentalists, Everyone! Whether or not you have celebrated or been involved in ICAW in the past, we want you to participate this year.

The Theme is based on how compost is good for plants, people and our planet – it’s good for our future.. Our world has pressing environmental and economic threats with water shortages, energy challenges, climate change and depletion of natural resources. There is VALUE in what some call waste and each of us can do something to help. By coming together with a global voice that promotes compost, International Compost Awareness Week is a call to action – composting is good for the environment and for our future, no matter where you live! Through composting, we keep organic matter out of landfills, feed and improve soil health and minimize chemical use. Together we can create a global conservation plan that converts organics wastes into resources. Compost – Building a Better Future – for plants, people and our planet.

It’s easy! Here’s how it works:
The poster contest winner will have his/her poster reproduced and distributed to thousands nationwide. It will be the official 2018 International Compost Awareness Week poster and featured on the CCREF website as well as on the US Composting Council website too. The winning “poster artist” will have his/her name posted on the CCREF website and will be included on all print material and in any press releases in association with our annual ICAW celebration.

The successful poster winner will receive a $500 prize. The contest is open to anyone from third grade to adult. There are 3 contest divisions: grades 3-7, grades 8-12, and college – adult. The best from each division will be entered into the final contest.

The contest begins on September 1, 2017 and continues until November 6, 2017.

This is YOUR opportunity to display your creative talent and show your belief in composting and in the benefits of using compost!

Official Guidelines:
۱٫Fee: Free!
۲٫ Entries per person: Entries are limited to ONE SUBMISSION PERARTIST.
۳٫ Submitting your entry: You must complete the entry form application and checklist, and submit your poster via email to:
info@compostfoundation.org with “Poster Contest – Name of artist” in the subject line. A short paragraph on why you chose to participate in ICAW
۲۰۱۸ and explanation of your poster concept must be included with your email submission.
۴٫ Design: The poster must include the words International Compost Awareness Week May 6 – ۱۲, ۲۰۱۸ along with the poster theme – Compost! Building a Better Future. Please make sure everything can be easily read from a distance.
۵٫ The concept and images of the poster should be based on “compost use” or address the “benefits of recycling organic residuals.” We will especially
look for images that demonstrate that organic materials are a key component to healthy soils and for keeping soils and the environment
healthy in the future. When creating your poster, please remember that the winning poster will be reproduced and distributed nationally. The Composting Council Research & Education Foundation’s logo, along with sponsor logos, will be added to the poster below the winning image.
۶٫ Only ORIGINAL artwork will be considered. Please check your spelling; misspelling the theme will disqualify your poster!
۷٫ Posters that include personal or corporate information or product endorsements will be disqualified.
 
۸٫ Copyrighted Images/Subjects: Copyrighted, trademarked products, packaging, brand names and advertisements may not be used within the
poster. Original signed release forms are required for persons, whether public or private citizens, who are photographed and appear on the poster.
Release forms can be as simple as a paragraph stating “permission” from “subjects” with a printed list of names of the individuals appearing and
signed by the individuals. If the subject is under 18 the release form must be signed by a parent or guardian. This rule will be strictly enforced.
۹٫ Electronic Resolution and Format: Artwork is to be submitted in electronic format with a resolution of 300 dpi and in jpg format. (Note: Poster Winner will be requested to resubmit poster at higher resolution for reproduction purposes.) Poster should measure no larger than 12” wide X 17” high and be vertical (portrait) in orientation.
۱۰٫ Judging and winner selection : All entries will be reviewed by the judgesand the best three identified in each division. The divisions are
•Grades 3 to 7
•Grades 8 to 12
•College students and adults
The competition will be judged on the following criteria (40 points maximum):
•Marketability of poster to multiple audiences– 10 points.
•Creative and original artwork and idea– 10 points. •
Attractiveness in terms of design and neatness of layout— 10 points.
•Overall Impact, all graphics are related to the topic and make it easier to understand the poster theme – ۱۰ points.
The three top-rated posters in each division will be put to an online vote for USCC members and CCREF supporters ; the overall winner will receive a
$۵۰۰ prize.
۱۱٫ Final poster: The Composting Council Research & Education Foundation’s ICAW Committee reserves the right to alter the final poster design or to
reject all submissions for the final poster design. All submissions become the property of the Composting Council Research & Education Foundation
and may be us ed for commercial purposes. No entries will be returned.
۱۲٫ Deadline : November 6, 2017 , 12 midnight EST
