فراخوان بین المللی معماری Moriyama RAIC کانادا برای سال ۲۰۱۶ منتشر شد.

دیدگاه معمار کانادایی، Raymond برای مسابقه جایزه بین المللی «Moriyama RAIC International Prize» بر اساس عقیده شخصی او مبنی بر اینکه معماری شاخص جامعه را با بهبود ارزش های انسانی عدالت اجتماعی، احترام، برابری و برخورداری تغییر می دهد و بوسیله آفرینش محیط برای تندرستی همه مردم شکل گرفته است.

مشخصات کلی فراخوان

  • کارهای ارسالی می تواند نتیجه ی کار فرد یا تیم معماری باشد.
  • کار ارسالی که به صورت ساختمان است باید دوسال هم از بهره برداری آن گذشته باشد .
  • در هر دوره فقط یک اثر قابل ثبت است .
  • آثار باید تا ۱۹ سپتامبر به محل دفتر در تورنتو کانادا ارسال شوند،

هزینه ثبت نام

  • هر اثر جهت ثبت نام ۵۰۰ دلار هزینه دارد که فرم درخواست کمک هزینه ی دانشجویی هزینه ای ندارد.

  • ۱۰۰۰۰ دلار
  • مجسمه ی طراح و معمار کانادایی وی یو
  • پرداخت کمک هزینه ی تحصیلی .

I. Moriyama RAIC International Prize

۱٫ Vision

Canadian Architect Raymond Moriyama’s vision for the Moriyama RAIC International Prize is based on his conviction that great architecture transforms society by promoting humanistic values of social justice, respect, equality and inclusiveness, and by creating environments for the well-being of all people.

۲٫ The Prize

The Moriyama RAIC International Prize (the Prize) celebrates a single work of architecture that is judged to be transformative within its societal context. The Prize consists of a monetary award of CAD $100,000 and a sculpture by Canadian designer Wei Yew.

The Prize will be awarded every two years in an open juried competition.

۳٫ Eligibility

The competition is open to all architects, irrespective of nationality and location. Any architect, team of architects, or architect-led collaboration is invited to submit a building or a related group of buildings that has been completed, occupied and in use for at least two years prior to the entry deadline. Candidates are limited to a single submission per award cycle.

۴٫ Criteria

The intention of this award is to celebrate a single work of architecture that is transformative, inspired as well as inspiring, and emblematic of the human values of respect and inclusiveness. The jury will consider a range of criteria in the evaluation of submissions, including:

  • the building’s formal and experiential qualities;
  • the efficiency and effectiveness of the building in use;
  • response to site, climate and environmental conditions;
  • quality of engagement with the broader context – social, cultural, historic and political;
  • craftsmanship.

۵٫ Submission requirements

Entries may be submitted by an architect, a team of architects, or an architect-led collaboration.

Submissions shall include a completed Application Form and a Project Portfolio. The Project Portfolio shall be formatted as a maximum 30-page 8 ½” x 11” or A4 document, in either portrait or landscape orientation and should not exceed 15 MB in size. The limit of 30 pages does not include the covers, the Application Form or the receipt. If the submission includes text in any language other than English or French, translations into either English or French must be provided.

The Project Portfolio should include the following information, in the order presented below:

  • A biography of the applicant(s);
  • A project description, not to exceed 500 words in length, outlining the objectives and significance of the project in language that is accessible to the general public;
  • A media statement, not to exceed 100 words in length, crafted for website postings and media campaign requirements;
  • Site plans, photographs and other documentation that describes the location and explains the organization of the site and physical context of the project;
  • Architectural documentation, including, but not limited to, plans, sections, elevations and other drawings, and images of physical and virtual models;
  • Photographs of the building in use;
  • A numerical index listing all photos and providing full photo credit information, including names of photographers and agencies;
  • Other materials that explain the building and its broader context;
  • References to awards, publications and other forms of recognition of the project;
  • Evidence of support for the project from users, clients, visitors, and others;
  • A web link to a high-resolution video (maximum 5 minutes in length) that shows the building in use;
  • The registration fee receipt as proof of payment.

If deemed necessary, the Professional Advisor may request additional information from candidates.

Each submission shall be delivered as a PDF attachment to moriyamaprize@raic.org with your full name as the subject line. You must also upload your submission PDF to this folder, with your full name as the file name, by the deadline of 5 p.m. EDT, March 8, 2017.

There will be a registration fee of CAD $500 per submission. The registration fee must be paid online by clicking the link below and the transaction receipt must be included in the Project Portfolio.
