فراخوان جایزه بین المللی چاپ روی کاغذ سال ۲۰۱۸ منتشر شده است.

■ رقابت «On Paper» فراخوان سالانه چاپ خود را برای توسعه هنر چاپ دستی و ایجاد ارتباط میان هنرمندان چاپ گر سراسر جهان منتشر کرده است.
≡ مشخصات رقابت
- ■ هر هنرمند می تواند یک قطعه کار روی کاغذ به ابعاد ۳۰۰mm x 400mm (۳۰cm x 40cm) یا معادل آن ۱۱x17in ارسال کند.
- ■ ابعاد خود اثر هنری می تواند هر اندازه ای در داخل کاغذ بالا باشد.
- ■ اثر هنری باید بوسیله یکی از تکنیک های چاپ دستی شامل موارد زیر خلق شده باشد:
• Screenprinting
• Lithography
• Etching
• Collagraph
• Monotype
• Woodcut
• Photopolymer
• etc.
- هنرمندان ترغیب می شوند تا از تکنیک های چاپ غیر متداول استفاده کنند.
- چاپ دیجیتالی پذیرفته نمی شود.
- با این حال از فرآیند دیچیتالی می تواند برای بهترکردن چاپ هایی که بصورت سنتی اجرا شده اند استفاده شود.
- آثار باید نسبتا جدید باشند و حداکثر طی دوسال اخیر خلق شده باشند و نه قبل از آن و قبل از آن نیز از آنها چاپ گرفته نشده باشند.

■ آثار هنرمندان نامزد جایزه در استودیوی چاپ اسپایک در جزیره اسپایک، بریستول انگلستان در تابستان ۲۰۱۸ به نمایش گذاشته می شود.

The contest is open to anyone. Application is online at www.onpapercontest.com
Each artist can submit one piece of work on a paper size of 300mm x 400mm (30cm x 40cm) or the equivalent 11x17in. The print size can be any within the size of the paper. The work must have been made using any traditional printmaking techniques, including screenprinting, lithography, etching, collagraph, monotipe, electro-etching, woodcut, photopolymer, etc. We also encourage artists to use non-toxic techniques. Digital prints (prints made with a printer) are not accepted. However, digital processes can be used to elaborate prints that are traditionally printed.
The work must be relatively new, completed in the last couple of years, not before, and not have received a prize before.
The shortlisted artists will have their work shown in the Spike Print Studio at Spike Island, Bristol (UK), in summer 2018. An international jury will vote to select the shortlisted artists; the winner will be the artist with the most votes. There will be one award of 1000€ for the winning artist, and an AWAGAMI PAPER AWARD sponsored by The Awagami Factory (Japan) of 50 sheets of eco-friendly Awagami Factory paper, worth 500€.
The print with the most creative printing process will be awarded this year for the first time. ON PAPER encourages artists to develop their creativity and uniqueness through the process of printing. Artists may submit unique prints, poupe color prints, monotip processes, chine collé, multiplate prints… in general experimental prints that are unlikely to be part of an edition. There will be a prize of 300€ for the artist whose print has the most votes in this matter.
Submission to the contest has a fee of 26€, payable via paypal. All artists who submit work to the contest will be shown on our website, onpapercontest.com, in the ‘PARTICIPANTS’ section for a minimum of one year. Moreover, the shortlisted artists will be shown on onpapercontest.com in the ‘SHORTLISTED 2018’ section and will also be shared on ON PAPER’s social media.

The artists shortlisted for the prize and the exhibition will be notified by email before May 1st ۲۰۱۸. The winner will be announced during the opening night of the show on the 20th of July in Bristol, UK. The shortlisted artists must ship the selected work unframed and unmounted to the Spike Print Studio address by the date supplied to them in their notification email. The artists are responsible for all shipping costs.
After the exhibition, the artists will be able to arrange shipment (from Barcelona, Spain) or to pick up their own work after the show. The work that hasn’t been picked up or shipped before the next award will become property of ON PAPER contest. Alternatively, artists can donate the print to ON PAPER.
On PAPER organisation and the jury’s decisions on all things are final. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the organisation reserve the right to change dates, location and awards.
